About six years ago I stopped drinking sodas and began drinking more water and juice. No doctor told me to do this but I just felt it would be healthier for me. Lately I’ve been sampling different drink options like sparkling water and most recently coconut water. Recently, INVO sent me their coconut water to sample. Honestly, I said yes with the preconceived idea that no coconut water could possibly taste great. I mean its good for you but not so tasty to me anyway. But their colorful and fun website won me over so I took the bait!
In the end I am happy that I said yes to review INVO coconut water because it is yummy scrumptious deliumptious. Before drinking the coconut water my sister and I decided to create a mock beach party for the bottles. Yes, I know we are just one step away from creating fruit friends like Miranda (British Television reference). It’s silly but it made for cute photographs.
INVO Coconut Water Flavors
- Sencha Green Tea
As I mentioned earlier I did not care for coconut water prior to trying INVO. In the past I tried different brands but they all had the pulp in them which I hate. Hindsight this might have been the main reason I hated coconut water to begin with. Just something about coconut shavings in my water grosses me out. I truly think it’s the texture of the pulp that makes me want to gag plus they are hard to swallow.
My complaining is complete now lol. Back to the task at hand. INVO coconut water is so refreshingly delicious. I’ll break down the flavors below and tell you what my sisters and I thought about each flavor.
- Pure – Pure is just that, pure coconut water. The taste is very smooth and refreshing. Also might I add there is no pulp in this coconut water. My sisters and I each took a sip (or two) and we loved it. This water does take on a pink hue over time but this is completely safe. No need to freak out.
- Tropical– This coconut water tasted more like a juice to me. I almost forgot it was coconut water for a second. This is a flavor I would recommend for someone who is not so sure they want to jump on the coconut water bandwagon. This tropical INVO coconut water will slowly pull you over to the dark side!!! (insert high-pitched evil laugh here). This was by far my favorite flavor and I am terribly sad that it is gone. I mean trying to get me to share this one was like trying to get the microphone from Beyonce once she’s knee deep into one of her high octave notes. Basically I’m a diva when it comes to this tropical coconut water. In fact I considered selling my mother in order to get my hands on more of this flavor!! (Just kidding mom I know you read this. Love you). .
- Sencha Green Tea – Odd fusion but pleasant taste. This was more up my sister L’s alley. Not so much a favorite for me, it wasn’t gross or anything but just not a flavor I would do drastic things for. But it is healthy for you and refreshing.
I would definitely purchase INVO coconut water again in the future. Until the end of time I will continue to sing its praises on social media and in person. Another great thing about INVO coconut water is that it is good for you. In addition to being tasty, coconut water contains five essential electrolytes to help keep you hydrated. Plus if you hate bananas and need more potassium in your diet, just pick up a INVO coconut water and your body will thank you. This product is also low in sugar and 99% fat-free, so go ahead and drink up without worrying about packing on the pounds and not being ready for your summer bikini.
