Growing up I have always had a love hate relationship with my hair. My older sister has beautiful 3c hair that is full of the most beautiful curls, while I was given 4c hair that only knew how to do one thing well, afros, or so I thought. I’ve experimented with my natural hair over the past five years, getting silk outs, braid outs, twist outs, any kind of protective style you could possibly think of to be honest. But, recently I have been seeing so many beautiful girls with curls and I wanted to achieve that look with my 4c hair. Then the Original Chopstick Styler™ Curling Wand by Lee Stafford entered my life and ladies lets just say achieving beautiful bouncy curls for 4c girls is no longer a dream of mine.
To be honest my sister who is a cosmetologist and I had reservations about the Chopstick Styler™ Curling Wand. We honestly thought it would only give great results to those with already silky hair. My sister didn’t even want to use it on my hair because she thought it would be a waste of time. Thankfully we were both wrong.
Before I get into how my sister prepared my hair and how to use the curling wand let me first tell you a little more about the Chopstick Styler™ by Lee Stafford. My sister commented that the curling wand took very little time to set the curl and that she would actually use the Chopstick Styler™ on her clients! Check out the finished results below:
